Victor H. Ramos, 76, of Midland, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019 surrounded by his family. There will be a celebration of life service at 7:00pm, Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 1:00pm, Friday, March 22, 2019 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.Victor was born on November 17, 1942 to Eufemia and Geronimo Ramos in Mulato, Chihuahua. He was married to Margarita Ramos for 54 years, had 7 children, 15 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson. His first profession/love was in agriculture, where he had cattle, horses, pigs, chickens, goats, dogs, cats and a pet turkey. With only a 4th grade education, he was a master engineer, architect, electrician and an entrepreneur. Using this skill, he built our home from the ground up, starting with the concrete foundation to the roof, the plumbing, electrical wiring, custom cabinetry, to even engineering his own table saw using a circular saw and wood scraps. His was a truck driver as his second career and he owned his own trucking business for 25 years. He loved to sing karaoke and he tuned his voice with a little te—quilita. He enjoyed his ranch in Mexico, his dog Kanguro, his cat Chicharito and needless to say, his family. He went to be with the Lord on his mom’s birthday.Victor, hijo de Geronimo y Eufemia Ramos, nació el 17 de noviembre de 1942en el Mulato, Chihuahua. Fue casado con Margarita Ramos por 54 años, tuvieron 7 hijos, 15 nietos y un bisnieto. Su primera profesión fue agricultor en la que tenia ganado, caballos, cerdos, gallinas, chivas, peros, gatos y un guajolote como mascota. Con su educación de cuarto año, el llegó a tener el conocimiento en ingeniería, arquitectura, electricista y empresario. La cual el uso para hacer su propia casa para su familia desde los cimientos hasta el techo, la plomeria, la electricidad, los gabinetes y hasta se inventó una mesa de carpintero usando un serrucho circular y sobrantes de madera. Su siguiente ocupación fue chofer de troca y tubo su propia compañía por 25 años. Le gustaba cantar con el karaoke y se afinaba la voz con su té—quilita. Disfruto de su rancho en la Bolsita, de su pero el Kanguro, de su gatito el Chicharito y por su puesto de su familia.He is survived by his wife, Margarita G. Ramos; son, Victor R. Ramos and wife, Mary and their children, Victor Ramos III and Norma; son, Eleazer Ramos and his daughter, Gabriela Ramos; son, Adrian Ramos and wife, Lori and their children, Adrian Ramos, Jr., Iris, Isaiah, Marc, Noah and Josaiah; daughter, Hilda Ramos Garanzuay and her children, Yasmin, Delylah and Marcelino; son, Ruben Ramos, and wife Monica and their children, Ruben, Maggie and Isabella; daughter, Monica Ramos Richards and husband, Philip Richards and their children, Esteban Corpus and Cristian Richards; sisters, Adela Cano, Paula Solis.He is preceded in death by his father Geronimo Ramos; mother Eufemia H. Ramos; daughter Norma L. Ramos; brothers Juan, Eugenio and Eleuterio Ramos; sister Teodora Cervantes.Pallbearers will be his children, Victor R.
