Roy Paiz Garcia, age 59, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 in Odessa, Texas. He will lie-in-state Friday, March 8, 2019 from 9 AM until 7:00 PM. Rosary services will begin at 7:00 PM in the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.Roy was born January 30, 1960 to Narciso Garza Garcia and Inocente Paiz Garcia in Menard, Texas.Those left to cherish his love and memories are his wife, Guadalupe Garcia; sons, Roy Garcia, Jr. and Jose Guadalupe Garcia; daughters, Mary Jane Calhoun and Amanda Garcia; brothers, Fabian, Hector, Earnest and Martin Garcia; one sister, Gloria Gandara; and nine grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Crematory.
