Robert “Bob” Bradshaw, 69, of Midland, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in Midland. Funeral service will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland. Bob lived a big life. He was a superb musician who adored and played almost every type of music. He was a master florist who owned his own business for over 30 years. He traveled the world and loved learning about new people, places and things. He received an Associate’s Degree in business from Midland College, graduating with honors; at an age when most people would not have wanted to put the effort into study and school work while running a successful business. Bob loved his family and he loved making Christmas special for them. In fact he loved every aspect of Christmas and his motto was: “there is no such thing as too many Christmas decorations!” Bob enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren swimming barbequing and generally acting silly. He made up special unique names for them. Bob enjoyed his friends, cooking, playing music and going out to eat. He and Kathy married in 1985 and Dec 28 in (of course) a Christmas themed wedding. They would have been married 33 years on Dec 28 of this month. They were blessed with wonderful friends and family and of course their dogs that became “the kids” after the human kids left home. They were able to travel and enjoy many things together. As Bob’s health declined, they spent lots of pleasant evenings with “the kids” watching movies on TV. Bob met his great grandson Ky-Mani James Green only once before he became very ill but said he felt a special connection to the baby and was looking forward to teaching him to play music.Bob had a big life. He leaves a big hole in our hearts but we know he will live on in the memory of the countless lives he touched. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Bradshaw; daughter, Miranda and husband Bryan Green and their children Amber and Heather, her son, Ky-Mani, and Ginger; daughter, Tabatha and husband, David Rivera, and her children, Evan and Rain; nephew, James and wife, Elizabeth Ryan their children, Josh, Nathan, and Faith; niece, Sabrina Wise and daughter, Kyrion; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Christine Bradshaw; sister, Claudia Brown. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Ehrlich of Flower Mound, TX; Richie Furay of Boulder, CO; Patrick Oliver, Joe Shephard and Marc Howard all of Midland, TX; and Randy Faulkner of California. Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland. Online condolences can be made at www.npwelch.com. ,
