Jean Steadmon, 75, of Big Spring, died on Wednesday, December 26, 2001, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 29, 2001, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Dr. Claude Craven, retired Baptist minister officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. She was born on January 12, 1926 in Hermleigh, Texas and married Ruben Steadmon on April 15, 1950 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Mrs. Steadmon had lived in the Big Spring community since 1967 and was a homemaker. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Ruben Steadmon of Big Spring; a daughter, Donna Ridenour of San Antonio, Texas; a son, David R. Steadmon of Denver Colorado; one brother, Bill Randell of Lake Isabella, California, and one sister, Sarah Skelton of Taylor. The family suggests memorials be made to Home Hospice, 600 S. Gregg, Big Spring, Texas 79720. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.,
