Gary Streicher, 68, of St. Lawrence went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2019. He was born January 19, 1951 to Dora and Grady Streicher of Wall, Texas. He married the love of his life, Karen Schwartz, September 22, 1973.He is survived by his wife; three children, Michael Streicher of St. Lawrence, Carey Brown and husband, Marshall of Wall, and Kevin Streicher and wife, Cassie of Mertzon. He is also survived by five beautiful grandchildren, Cooper and Barrett Brown and Kaylie, Shaylie and Lawson Streicher. He has one sister, Evelyn Willis of San Angelo; one brother, Preston Streicher of San Antonio; and a nephew, Toby and wife, Christy. Other survivors include mother-in-law Ann Schwartz; brothers and sisters-in-law Kenneth and Shirley Braden, Alan and Connie Zoller, Dennis and Sandra Braden, Craig and Denise Halfmann, Alfred Schwartz, Jr., Craig and Carol Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews.He was a farmer and loved tilling the soil. He enjoyed camping and trail riding with his family and friends. His special trips were to the beach at Port Aransas. He especially liked pecan pie, German chocolate cake and any ice cream.Pallbearers will be Kenneth Braden, Alan Zoller, Brent Braden, Craig Halfmann, Alfred Schwartz, Jr., and Craig Carter. Honorary pallbearer will be Dennis Braden.A viewing and rosary will be Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 6:00 PM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated Friday, February 15, 2019 at 10:00 AM also at the St. Lawrence Church.
