The first time I met Tom was in second grade the year 2000s. I will not forget this event because Tom made an impression on me; he showed kindness by inviting my family over for dinner and taught us manners. The feeling of enjoyment comes to my mind. Tom was a great friend and I enjoyed and loved his company and the knowledge that he gave so freely to people. Tom truly had a giving heart and a deep laughter. Friends, family, and even I let’s not let our hearts take to lamenting in too much grief because Tom has passed on earth. Tom lives within us and we keep him alive. What I mean by this is; Tom lives in our hearts, in our minds, and in our memories that we will carry with us throughout our lives. Family of Tom my heart goes out to you all. Tom truly was a wonderful man and he will be missed.

There so many memories but what is most interesting is that they are every day ordinary ones that are built up over time, that make him who is. I say “is” because life doesn’t end after death. We are just absent from our bodies but our souls live in fullness within one of those two eternal places the Bible speaks about. But here on earth Tom was honestly the first true friend that I made in adulthood. I’m only lucky that I happened to bump into him! His support and love was unceasing. He was a friend to me as a young mother who was alone, a confidant and an encourager. He is an awesome person. His smile says it all about him. And I wish I could hear that deep chuckle. Since he has left this earth that we all stand upon, I think of him more. He always tried to fix things that were broken in people and our hearts feel broken that he’s gone from us so soon. Thank you.

I can't believe you are no longer here… Our backyard pool parties and football games won't be the same...Taken so suddenly, I have to believe that God has bigger plans for you...Until I see you again
