Lettie was someone who, without her knowing it, influenced my decision to become a clinical social worker instead of psychologist. She did so by graciously sharing with me her experiences of helping people who were in pain. Hours spent in the kitchen drinking our first morning cups of coffee together are some of my most cherished memories of her. With each story, she taught me how important kindness is and how rare a gift it can be when offered to someone who has nowhere else to turn. I truly believe that nothing in life is an accident and that Lettie was placed in my life for a reason. I will miss her and I will, forever, cherish the time God allowed me to spend with her. She mattered and she made a difference. Thank you, Lettie.

I met Lettie through my mother, Patsy Sparkman, as they were both involved (passionately) with the Presidential Museum, Republican Women & Republican Party. Lettie had so much passion to make this world a better place and she & her involvement in our world will be greatly missed. Truly, she lived her faith and loved her Family & Friends. My prayers go out for the Family & Friends! I feel fortunate to have known Lettie. She was a dear friend who now has joined my dear Mother.
