Zachary Allen Ondechek, 25 of Odessa, Texas, formerly of Smyrna, Delaware, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 9, 2019.Zachary was born on July 20, 1994 in Newark DE to Ken and Maryagnes Ondechek. He was diagnosed at the age of 4 ½ with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy but he did not let that stop him. Zachary participated in the Challenger Little League, was a Goodwill Ambassador for MDA and was also involved with the Tall Cedars of Lebanon becoming their National Goodwill Ambassador in 2004. Zachary graduated from Smyrna High School in 2013 where he was honored to be chosen Prom King. He enjoyed watching WWE wrestling, Nascar and his favorite, Pittsburgh Steeler Football.Zachary is survived by his parents, Ken and Maryagnes; brother, Kenneth Ondechek, Jr; sister, Rachael (DJ) Ewing; nephews, Nythius, Aydan and Ryan; niece, Alexia; maternal Grandmother, Rosemarie Bailey; paternal Grandmother, Elizabeth Ondechek; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He also has a very large extended family which included the Tall Cedar members, many of the nurses who cared for him, as well as his Zeno family.Zachary was preceded in death by his maternal Grandfather, Glenn H. Wooters and paternal Grandfather, Eugene J.
