Willie Campbell

Willie Campbell, 82, of Big Spring, died on Friday, August 8, 2003, in a Midland hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM Monday, August 11, 2003 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park with Rev. Roger Huff, pastor of New Hope Church of the Nazarene, officiating.     She was born on October 12, 1920, in Fisher County, Texas and married J. D. Campbell on December 8, 1945 in Lamesa, Texas. He preceded her in death on January 19, 1981.     They moved to Big Spring in 1951 from Lamesa. She had worked for JC Penney's Department Store when she first came to Big Spring. She then worked for Big Spring Independent School District in the central office for 25 years, before retiring in 1978. Mrs. Campbell was a member of New Hope Church of the Nazarene.     Survivors include one son, David Campbell of Midland; one sister, Viola Owen of Pinehurst, North Carolina; and several nieces & nephews          The family suggests memorials to: American Diabetes Association, Inc., Texas Affiliate, Inc., Western Regional Office, 8008 Slide Rd., Lubbock, Texas 79424.      Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
