Sandra Villarreal, 52, of Midland passed away Friday, September 20, 2019. Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish and Shrine, with interment following at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery.Sandra was born on June 4, 1967 to Catalina and Miguel Ontiveros in Fort Stockton, TX. She retired after 31 years of employment with Community National Bank in Midland, TX. She enjoyed dancing, spending time with family, laughing and living life to the fullest. She was a selfless wife, daughter, mother, grandma and friend, giving all she could to those who needed. Her smile and presence could fill any room no matter the size. She was a strong woman with a never-ending faith in God. She loved with her whole heart. Anyone who ever met her knew they were loved and accepted. She will always be remembered for her fighting spirit.She is survived by her loving husband, Jonas Villarreal; mother, Catalina Ontiveros; daughter, Brooke (Laura) Villarreal; and son, Matthew (Miranda) Holtzapple. 1 grandson, Julian David Villarreal (Davey), 3 sisters, Elizabeth Lara, Mary Salinas, Maria Sanchez, 2 brothers, Jesus Ontiveros, Edward Ontiveros and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Miguel Ontiveros.Pallbearers will be Mike Ontiveros, Abel Lara (Chicho), Robert Lopez, Anthony Sanchez, Frank Carrillo Jr., Daniel Rivera and Miguel Villanueva III.The family suggests memorials be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Dr. Phillip Chae, M.D at Midland Memorial Hospital, Hospice of Midland, the team of doctors at Cancer Centers of America and for all the kind words and prayers.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
