Reba Rogan, 91, of Big Spring, died on Wednesday, September 19, 2001, in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 22, 2001, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Ken McMeans, pastor of College Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. She was born on September 18, 1910 in Big Spring, Texas. She married Harold Meador in January of 1930. He preceded her in death in 1961. She then married Roy Rogan on March 1, 1966. He preceded her in death on November 11, 1991. Reba was a lifetime resident of Big Spring and graduated from Big Spring High School in 1928. She had worked at the Ford Motor Company and Cowper Clinic and Hospital as a bookkeeper. She was a past president of the Business and Professional Women's Club, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the United Transportation Union and past Worthy Advisor of the Rainbow for Girls. She was a member of College Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Jean Emerson of Big Spring; two grandsons, Ray Kennedy and wife, Barbara, of Big Spring and Steve Meador of South Carolina; one granddaughter, Lynda Proffitt and husband, Dan, of Big Spring; one daughter-in-law, Jo Meador of Austin; four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, one brother, three sisters and one great grandson. The family suggests memorials to the Heritage Museum, 510 Scurry, Big Spring, Texas, 79720.
