I remember Mrs. Harris from the beginning of my nursing career in the late 80's. She was my most favorite instructor during my long road of academia. I was just in town this past weekend and would've loved to have paid my respects to a fantastic lady and esteemed peer. Many blessings to you Leslie, and to your family. There was only one instructor who set the bar so high for so very many of us to follow.Cody > Carroll BSN, RN

I just recently met Mrs. Ramona when I started working for 87 auto sales about a year ago. She was the sweetest lady!! I got to hear all kinds of stories working here about her. My co-workers told me that on their birthday she would create beautiful birthday card for them. And Christmas cards and such. They told me of her many talents too! And how she always spoke to people with such kindness. I also got to hear from her son's and grandson's how blessed they have been to have such an amazing woman in their lives. And my pastor's wife got to work with her at Howard College and also spoke of what an amazing woman she was to know and work with. My heartfelt condolences go out to the Harris family and I also rejoice with Ramona for her new amazing life in Heaven with our King. Till I see you again Mrs. Ramona!

First I loved and her as my instructor. The best I ever had!!Then I loved her as the mother of one of my close friends.Next I loved her as my friend and golfing buddy. We had so much fun and so many times I can remember laughing so hard. I would make bad shots and curse. She would make bad shots and say “Oh goodness” “ Oh My” She was very hard to say No too. She called once when I was very pregnant and ask me too come let her students examine me and try to find the heart beat. That was a very long hour!! She Ask me to come to one of her Christmas parties with her students and when I get there she insisted I sing in front of them, I was not a singer and these were people I didn’t even know.- but I did it! Lol She was wonderful. I will never forget her. My Condolences to all the family.
