Peggy Bush Jones, 72, also known lovingly as Zan to her grandchildren, passed away unexpectedly in her home in Marble Falls, TX, on March 30, 2019, leaving behind only the cutest shoes which will forever be just too big to fill. She was a force to be reckoned with and known for many things – including: her sense of humor, volunteer work, hair styling abilities, real estate prowess, quiche and pie making legacy, and quick exits from social gatherings. Although leaving her loved ones wondering what the heck happened, she made her exit just as she would have liked – quickly and without a fuss. She belonged to many service organizations over the years and gave countless time and effort to each gifting the community with her vision for a brighter and happier future: Rotary International, Hill Country Community Theater, Highland Lakes Service League, Marble Falls Chamber of Commerce, and CASA – to name a few. Additionally, she attended Trinity Episcopal Church in Marble Falls.By now she is likely enjoying coffee with her mom, Lucy Ellen Bush, and her sister, Patsy Bush Strickland, trying to convince them to participate in a fundraiser she is initiating – all the while offering a haircut to anyone who she thinks needs one.She will be sorely missed by daughter, Patti Cryer and husband Allen Cryer of Marble Falls, TX; her daughter Sheila Evans and husband Tim Evans of Georgetown, TX; five grandchildren – Mattie and Tess Cryer of Marble Falls, TX, Davis and Brooke Bullard and Avery Evans of Georgetown, TX – with whom she enjoyed spoiling and making interesting memories only Zan could create.Three sisters, who served as ‘salon clients’ during Peggy’s beauty school days, will also miss her vivacious laugh and company: Carolyn Graves of Midland, TX, Liz Lea and husband Bobby of Lampasas, TX, and Vicki Seals and husband Jim of Chico, TX.Numerous nieces and nephews, lifelong friends, and countless admirers will miss her one-liners and her giving spirit. If you encountered Peggy, you remembered it.A celebration of life will take place on April 19th, at Spicewood Vineyards – 4:00 p.m., Spicewood, TX. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the CASA for the Highland Lakes Area, Kingsland, TX.,
