Marjorie Pinkerton Tipton, 79, of Big Spring, died on Monday, March 12, 2001, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, March 15, 2001, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Elder Troy Barrington with the Midland Primitive Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Ackerly Cemetery. She was born on September 11, 1921 in Jester, Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Big Spring since 1972 and was a homemaker. Marjorie was a member of Philadelphia Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Janie Gail Allen of Willis; two sons, Daniel Craig Baker of The Woodlands and Kenneth Allen Baker of Murrieta, California; two grandchildren and four cousins. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
