Lupe H. Martinez, 76, of Coahoma, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish. Interment will follow at Coahoma Cemetery.A Rosary service will be 7:00 PM, Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.Lupe was born September 15, 1943 to Fidel Martinez and Vicenta Hernandez Martinez in Lockhart, Texas. He was married to Simona Ramirez and they had seven children.He is survived by his wife, Simona Martinez of Coahoma; three daughters, Yolanda Gonzales and Lorenza Martinez, and Irma Hewtty and husband, Florencio Jr., all of Big Spring ; two sons, Charlie Martinez and wife, Gloria, and Jerry Martinez, all of Coahoma; one brother, Antonio Martinez of Stanton; 11 grandchildren, Monica Gonzales, Manuel Gonzales Jr, Alonzo Gonzales, Christina Martinez, Crystal Blanco, Joseph Martinez, Chris Bustamante, Ami Martinez, Gabriel Hewtty, Michael Hewtty, and Isacc Hewtty; and 14 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, David Martinez, and Michael Martinez; and a granddaughter, Cindy Gonzales.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Crematory.
