Jean Gleason, 86, of Big Spring, died Friday, November 23, 2018 in a Midland hospital. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park.She was born April 29, 1932 in Widnes, England and married Walter Gleason April 26, 1952 in England. He preceded her in death July 30, 2015.Jean worked as a secretary for Robert H. Moore III and at Howard College. She loved taking care of her house plants, cooking for family and friends and was an avid reader.Survivors include three daughters, Joanne Sayles and husband, Ronald, and Susan Williams and husband George all of Big Spring, and Sandra Crockett and husband, Donald of Midland; one brother, Ian McCaig and wife, Margaret of Canada; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ida McCaig.The family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.orgArrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Crematory.
