Jean Duncan Fields

Fields, Jean Duncan, 73, of Big Spring, died on Sunday, August 13, 2000, at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 16, 2000, at Trinity Memorial Park with Rev. Wanda Hill, pastor of First United Methodist Church, Coahoma, officiating. Mrs. Fields was born on December 2, 1926 in Coahoma, Texas and married James Kenneth Fields on August 24, 1962 in Lamesa, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1977. Jean was a lifelong resident of this area and graduated from Coahoma High School in 1945. She owned and operated Jean Fields Bookkeeping Service for over 25 years retiring in 1988. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Coahoma. Survivors include a brother, M. L. Duncan of Marshall and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Viola Bates on February 20, 1996 and a brother, Vernon Duncan in 1985. The family suggests memorials to: First United Methodist Church, P.O.
