Herman Seale, 78, of Midland, formerly of Sun City, Arizona, died on Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at the Big Spring veteran's home. Graveside funeral services will be at 4:00 PM Friday, March 22, 2002, at Resthaven Memorial Park, Midland, with Rev. David Herman, retired Lutheran minister, officiating. He was born on October 27, 1923 in Roscoe, Texas and married Veronica Templeton on June 28, 1981 in Midland, Texas. Herman had owned and operated Seale Furniture and Appliance in Midland and Odessa until his retirement in 1979. His passion was tennis, where he won many tournaments and trophies. He was a member of the Community Church of Joy in Glendale, Arizona. He had served in the United States Navy during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Ronnie Seale of Midland; two daughters, Karen Floyd of Keller and Charla Showalter of Lubbock; one son, Larry Seale of Mt. Vernon; three brothers, Vondean Seale of Burleson, Dan Seale of Phoenix, Arizona and Johnny Seale of Empeoria, Arizona; three sister, Melba Light of Snyder, Felba Ware of Sun City, Arizona and Jo Alice Bohannon of Daytona Beach, Florida; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
