McCrary, Hazel 86, of Lubbock, former longtime Big Spring resident died on Saturday, July 8, 2000, in a Lubbock hospital. Graveside funeral services will be at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, July 11, 2000, at Trinity Memorial Park, with Rev. Dianne Brown, minister of the First Presbyterian Church, offficiating. The family will receive friends at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M., Monday. She was born on June 22, 1400 in Roswell, New Mexico and married J. G. McCrary on January 28, 1937 in Midland, Texas and he preceded her in death onAugust 26, 1987. Hazel was the daughter of B.A. and Eugenia Reagan, a pioneer Howard County family. Hazel graduated from Big Spring High School in 1932. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, a member of the T.O.P.S. club, had been active in the P.T.A., and served as a pink lady at Malone-Hogan Hospital for many years. Survivors include: two daughters, Marilyn Mason of Lubbock, and Shirley Lawrence of Rosenberg, Texas, four grandchildren, Greg Mason of Corpus Christi, Melinda Mason of Lubbock, Susanna Mason of Waco and Kevin Lawrence of Houston, two great grandchildren, two brothers, Earl Reagan and Richard Reagan both of Big Spring, and two sisters, Joyce Hawkins of Rochester, Minnesota, and Lois McElreath of Big Spring.
