Earline Clanton Lovelace, 78, died peacefully on February 28, 2002, at her home in Cypress, Texas. She was born in Ira, Texas on January 5, 1924 to Claude R. Bishop and Mabel Woolever Bishop. She was a longtime resident of Big Spring and a Methodist. Earline brought love to everyone she met that will last through eternity. Her happiness was enjoying a stick of gum and an ice cream sandwich with her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren and her many, many friends. She will be missed. Earline married Morris Clanton on January 5, 1941 in Farwell, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 7, 1984. She then married Tommie Lovelace on July 31, 1985 in Big Spring and he preceded her in death on January 24, 1996. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Deborah Clanton of Cypress; her son, Lonnie Clanton of Big Spring; grandchildren, Ron Clanton, Jr., Kim Ransleben, Paula Hunt, Amy Hill, Annette Clanton, Toby Clanton, Tammie Smith; step-grandchildren, Kathy Anderson and Joe Terry and 14 beloved great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Billie Lesly, Fran Waterbury, and Peggy Morgan. She was also preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Clanton; her grandson, Andy Clanton; her parents; her brother and 3 sisters. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 3, 2002 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Gene Waterbury at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 4, 2002, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with interment at Trinity Memorial Park.
