Denise Rose Case, age 62, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in Big Spring, Texas.  She was a resident of San Antonio, Texas and she was a devoted wife and mother and always put her family first, sometimes even before herself.  Before her Alzheimer’s she loved to paint and thankfully her love of music continued through the dementia.

Graveside services will be held in the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia at a later date.

Denise previously served in the United States Army until being honorably discharged in 1988 to become a devoted wife and mother. Joining the military seemed to be the most pivotal moment in Denise’s life.  She got to see the world, travel, meet new people, find her husband, marry and have children.

She is preceded in death by her father Alvin Maynard Jordan and her mother Joann Geneva Jordan (Dushack), as well as her husband Terry Dean Case.

Survivors include her sisters Delores Hinman, Deborah Weisensel (Greg), Deanna Jordan, Dena Jordan, Delynn Jordan and her brothers Alvin Jordan Jr, Anthony Jordan (Sue), Andrew Jordan, and Alex Jordan. She also leaves behind her three children and four grandchildren: Daniel Jordan (Meegan) and his three children (Lucas, Vivian, and Natalie), Melissa Guntz (Christopher) and their son (Alexander), and David Case.

Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Crematory.  Online condolences can be made at www.npwelch.com
