Bryan Robert Meyer, 42, of Big Spring, died on Monday, November 12, 2001, in a Lubbock hospital. Vigil services will be 7:00 PM Thursday at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon, Friday, November 16, 2001, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Jeremiah McCarthy, Pastor Emeritus of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. He was born on April 16, 1959 in Debuke, Iowa. Bryan moved to Cleburne in 1996 where he met Bonnie Sue Guynes. They were married in Fort Worth, Texas on July 1, 1999. He had moved to Big Spring in April of this year. Bryan had coached for both his son's and grandson's sports teams. He will be remembered as a great husband, a wonderful father and an irreplaceable papa. His spirit and laughter will be missed by all, but he will be remembered most for his giving and love for us all. He was a Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Meyer of Big Spring; five daughters, Janice Halbert of Alvarado, Jessica Bailey, Randee Guynes and Echo Meyer all of Big Spring, and Madonna DePriest of Joshua; one son, Carl Storey of Big Spring; three granddaughters, Destiny Halbert, Brittany Bailey and Sheyanne DePriest; one grandson, Tyler Halbert; four sisters, Donita Meyer and Tina Denlinger of Wisconsin, Lynn Mulert of Naples, Florida and Roberta Schroeder of Texarkana; two brothers, Bruce Meyer and Brad Meyer both of Debuke, Iowa. Pallbearers will be Greg Bailey, Jody Halbert, Buddy Perkins, Josh Hampton, Steven Hampton and Todd Hobbs. The family suggests memorials to the donors favorite charity.
