Antonio Zuniga, 83, of Garden City, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019. Viewing will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Rosary services will be Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 7:00 PM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.Funeral Services will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church (2400 Farm to Market 2401) Friday, July 19, 2019 at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery.He was born October 31, 1935, in La Esmeralda, Coahuila, Mexico to Juanita and Manuel Zuniga. He made his way to Glasscock County over 50 years ago. Here he found his home. After several years of odd jobs, he found what he loved to do, working for Glasscock County Coop, which he did for 40 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria de la Luz Zuniga; two daughters, Maria Lopez and husband, Jesus and Angelica Zuniga; four sons, Oscar Zuniga and wife, Irma, Juan Zuniga and wife, Gabriela, Alberto Zuniga and wife, Maria, and Frank Zuniga and wife, Nancee; 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Oscar Manuel Zuniga; and five sisters, Maria Zuniga de Flores, Lillia Zuniga de Garza, Alicia Zuniga Grado, Isabel Zuniga de Olono, Maria del Refugio Zuniga de la Garza.Pallbearers will be Jesus Lopez, Oscar Zuniga, Jr., Angel Ortega, Frankie Zuniga, Luis Zuniga and Jeremiah Bernal.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Crematory.
