Albert Cresencio Gavia, 49, of Midland, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018. The Rosary will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.Albert was born on November 12, 1968, in Midland, TX to Delia Hernandez Segura and Cresencio Gavia. He attended Midland Lee High School. Albert worked as a landscaper, a butcher, and in construction. His interests included family, sport statistics, and the Dallas Cowboys. He devoted much of his time and energy to loving his family members, friends, fishing, and working.Albert is survived by his sisters, Tina Gavia Morris, Lisa Heard, and Martha Orozco; brothers, Roy Ramirez, David Ramirez, Tommy Ramirez and Sonny Hernandez; two daughters, Aiyana and Kristina Posey, and one son, Alex Gavia.He is preceded in death by his father, Cresencio Gavia and brother, Gregory \E.T.\ Ramirez.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
