The funeral home in Stanton was established in 1949 by Jack & Eula Arrington. Ronnie Gilbreath started his career in the funeral business in 1953 when he was a senior at Stanton High School working for Arrington Funeral Home. Ronnie & Mary purchased the business in 1962 and continued to operate Gilbreath Funeral Home until it was merged with Nalley-Pickle & Welch in 1998.
