WB Stephens passed peacefully at home on Sunday, September 27, 2015.WB was born on March 19, 1925 in Stephenville, Texas, Erath County. He was the fifth of eight children born to Erskin and Leota Stephens. He graduated from Stephenville High School in 1943 and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He returned home January of 1946 and married Billie Francis Pate, also of Stephenville, on May 12th of that same year. WB and Billie just recently celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary.WB and Billie moved to Midland, Texas in 1948 where WB went to work for Basin Electric Company and eventually opened his own company, Basin Radio and TV Service. WB retired in 1995. WB was faithful to serve his church in any capacity. If he was needed, he was there. He loved fishing, spending time with his grandchildren and working with his hands on many creative projects. He had an amazing sense of humor and loved to play jokes on his grandkids and family.WB was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; two sisters; his daughter, Donna Kay Stephens; and his grandson, Richard Stephens.He is survived by his wife, Billie Stephens; sons, Ray Stephens, Audie Stephens and wife, Debbie; grandson, Daniel Stephens; granddaughter, Hannah Stephens Bruce and her husband, Dillon; one sister, Peggy Thompson of Granbury, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Saint Mark’s United Methodist Church, 1701 North Main Street. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.The family requests that memorials be made to Saint Mark’s United Methodist Church in Midland, Texas.,
