Stella (Yutzy) Reber, 87, of Midland, Texas, passed away on May 29, 2015. Services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Montvale Cemetery near Sterling City, Texas, officiated by the Rev. Henry Pendergrass of Christ Church Anglican of Midland.Stella was born on June 26, 1927 to Reuben and Catherine Troyer Yutzy in Matheson, Colorado, the eighth of eleven children. She spent her childhood and youth in Colorado and Kansas before moving to Iowa where she met Willis Christian Reber. They married on July 31, 1954. Willis and Stella had five children- Patricia Yvonne, Willis Dale, Duane Merle, Willard Dean, and Daryl Lee Reber.Stella was a life-long Mennonite. Her dedication to nursing and caring for others began when she fulfilled her Mennonite service obligation in a Kansas City hospital in the 1940s and continued for well over fifty years. In addition, she was a skilled seamstress, an avid gardener, and she loved to read both for pleasure and knowledge.The family primarily lived in Iowa before finally settling in Talpa, Texas in 1972. In 1981, she and Willis moved to Sterling City. Willis passed away in 1994, and Stella moved to Midland in 2004.She was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Catherine Yutzy; her brothers, Clarence, Mahlon, and Ivan; her sisters, Mary, Bertha, Gladys, Ada, and Irma; her husband, Willis; and her infant daughter, Patricia Yvonne.She is survived by sons, Dale and wife, Debbie, of Abilene, Texas; Duane of Bridgeport, Nebraska; Dean and wife, Karen, of Midland, Texas; and Daryl and wife, Kim, of Mertzon, Texas; grandchildren, Brittany Reber of Midland, D’Nae Anding and husband, Jonathan, of Redding, California; Luke Reber of Mertzon; and Catherine Reber and James Reber of Midland; great-granddaughter, Braylee Reber of Midland; brothers, Paul Yutzy and wife, Pauline, of South Hutchinson, Kansas, and Gilbert Yutzy of Haven, Kansas; and many nieces and nephews.,
