Soledad “Chole” Rodriguez, 92, of Sand Springs, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at her residence. Vigil services will be 7:00 PM Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 9, 2018 at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.

She was born November 30, 1925 in Ira, Texas and married Facundo Rodriguez February 22, 1941 in Big Spring. He preceded her in death May 17, 1999.

Chole was a lifelong resident of Big Spring and had worked at the Big Spring State Hospital as a cook and in housekeeping for 11 years, retiring in 1991. She was a devoted mother, loved to work outdoors and enjoyed sewing.

Survivors include two sons, Martin Rodriguez and Ruben Rodriguez and wife, Elva all of Sand Springs; four daughters, Lasara Ontiveros of Sand Springs, Eloisa Gonzales and husband, Fermin of Coahoma, Isidora Morphis and husband, Frank B., and Makayla Chavez all of Sand Springs; two sisters, Pascuala Garcia and Juanita Rodriguez both of Stanton; 22 grandchildren, 56 Great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Maria Lownes; one granddaughter, Dianna Ontiveros; her son-in-law, Cresencio Ontiveros; two sisters; and four brothers.
