Phillip James “P. J.” Dominguez, 41, of Big Spring, died Saturday, December 1, 2018 at his residence. Rosary services will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

He was born December 3, 1976 in Big Spring to Manuel and Adela Dominguez. P. J. graduated from Big Spring High School and was co-founder and member of Low Image CC which was established in 1991. He was known as “P. J. the D. J.” and was involved with Relay for Life and donated his time to numerous other civic activities. P. J. was District Director for the local chapter of LULAC, was co-chair of the civil rights committee of the West Texas Chapter of LULAC, was charter President of 22294 LULAC and served on the board of directors of the Northside Movement. P. J. impacted many lives not only in Big Spring, but all across Texas.

Survivors include four sisters and one brother, Monica Martinez and husband, Joe, Manuel Dominguez, Dr. Cecilia Sophia Dominguez, Patsy Garza and husband, Albert, and Becky Dominguez; seven nieces and nephews, Chach, Toto, Kia, Ankamo, Aiken, E. J. and Pida; seven great-nieces and nephews, Ducky, Dito, Pincess Avi, Ham, MnM, White Girl, Peanut, BriBri and Papa; numerous God-children; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother-in-law, Eddie White.
