Nancy Annen

Annen, Nancy 81, of Big Spring, died on Friday, July 14, 2000, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, July 17, 2000, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Eddie Tubbs, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. Nancy was born on April 25, 1919 in Mansfield, Texas and married John Henry Annen on December 13, 1941 in Ft. Worth, Texas. He preceded her in death October 8, 1998. She and her husband came to Big Spring in 1949, from Mansfield, Texas. Mrs. Annen taught school in Coahoma and Big Spring, retiring after 40 years of teaching. She was a member of First Baptist Church, a member of the Retired Teachers Association, Delta Kappa Gamma, and was a pink lady at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Survivors include: one daughter & son-in-law, Vicki and Howard Stewart of Big Spring, two grandchildren, Quintinn Stewart of San Angelo, and Stephanie Stewart of Big Spring. Mrs. Annen was also preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. The family suggests memorials be made to the First Baptist Church, 705 W. FM 700, Big Spring, Texas 79720.
