Jean Maxwell, 87, of Odessa, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Odessa.Jean was born on January 23, 1931 to Helen and Alfred Crosbie in Tulsa, Ok. Jean graduated from Midwest City High School. She married the love of her life Paul Maxwell in May 1954 in Oklahoma City, OK. Jean was a golfer and a member of the Sunset Ladies Association. When she could, Jean enjoyed swimming at the YMCA and spending time with her many friends at the Ector County Elections Office.She is survived by her son, Ronal Ford and wife, Tina of Scottsdale, AZ; son, Terry Maxwell and wife, Rachael of Odessa, TX; son, Michael Maxwell and wife, Tabitha of Odessa, TX; daughter, Kym Maxwell of Odessa, TX; 10 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Maxwell; father, Al Crosbie; mother, Helen Hall; sisters, Carolyn and Beverly; grandson, Cody.Special thanks to her grandchildren William and Vanessa for their care of grandma during her illness.The family would like to express their gratitude for Tammy of Home Hospice of Odessa.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Home Hospice of Odessa and St. Barnabas Episcopal Church Bell Tower.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
