- Patsy Ann Gardner of Midland, departed this life Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at the age of 73 years. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sweetwater with Kathryn Boren officiating. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 28, 2010 at St. Luke's Methodist Church.
Mrs. Gardner was born September 18, 1936 in Wichita Falls to J.D. and Jewel (Fulfer) Holbrook. She married E.J. Gardner June 27, 1954 in Sweetwater, he preceded her in death, March 22, 2003. Patsy was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church; volunteered at St. Luke's Methodist Church and Hospice of Midland; she was a member of the Woman's Club; En Amic Book Review Club; and she loved playing bridge.
Those left to cherish her memory are, one brother, Frank Holbrook and wife Yvonnne of Killeen; two nephews, Van Holbrook and Lanny Morris both of Killeen; two nieces, Cindy Cox of Cedar Park and Shelley Letheo of Killeen; friends, Bud and Mary Sue Harrison and family.
She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.
